A stunning journey through the treasures of the Balkan states and the spectacular countryside of eastern Europe. You'll discover medieval cities, gorgeous coastal villages and spectacular national parks, which are the Jewels of Dalmatia.

Arrive in Budapest, capital city of Hungary and our new home for two nights. Budapest is a fascinating city split over the Danube River, where the two parts, Buda and Pest, are linked by a series of bridges. Our tour travels through scenic Balatonfured and on to historic Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Here we take a sightseeing tour of the colourful old town. We continue through the scenic landscapes of Bosnia to Sarajevo. Sarajevo has been influenced by a number of cultures and is a fascinating place to visit. The next is stop is Dubrovnik, a real highlight of this tour. Here we have time to relax and get to know this wonderful town. With its ancient city walls, narrow cobblestone streets and colourful shops, being in Dubrovnik is like stepping back in time.

From Dubrovnik we head to Split and the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. The park comprises 16 terraced lakes and is surrounded by thickly wooded hills. Here we take some time to enjoy the park and wander around the lower lakes; the scenery is breathtaking.

Continuing through Europe, we travel to Slovenia. We spend time at picturesque Lake Bled and in the charming town of Ljubljana. With its fairytale streets and colourful open-air markets, Ljubljana is a real jewel of Europe. The last stop on our fantastic tour is the romantic city of Venice. Here there is time to relax and explore as we visit the famous Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and Doge’s Palace.

Testimonials

Kangaroo Island Walk April 2017

April 2017

'Kangaroo Island was THE GREAT ESCAPE from the rat race. Staying up at the lighthouse in heritage listed houses was a step back in time. No internet, phones, tv, wifi ... just  sitting and conversing with like minded people was quite refreshing;  connecting with each other one on one with no interruptions of any kind.  The island is absolutely beautiful with the most gorgeous sunsets that photos do not do justice too...you have to be there to experience them in all their glory.  It was great to connect with nature on such an intimate level. Fraser Island Walk

April 2017

'I am not a regular walker but maintain my fitness. Fraser Island walk is very achievable for novices like myself, with options to go further if your the hard core walker.  A beautiful island with scenery that is breathtaking.  At the end destination of some of our walks an amazing freshwater lake surrounded by white sand to cool off. I would highly recommend this tour. '
