Petra by Night – 2hrs – 17pp JOD - (for 2016/17 program) (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday Only)
See the city at night the way the ancient spice caravan travellers must have seen it. Make your way through a candle-lit siq to the magnificent Treasury and enjoy an evening of Bedouin music and storytelling.



Islamic Cairo - 3hrs - $45pp US
Visit the Gayer Anderson Museum - two houses from the 16th and 17th century built with a unique architectural style and filled with antiques from all over the Middle East. Nearby is the Ibn Toulon Mosque, one of Cairo’s biggest mosques, built in the 8th century with strong Persian design influences. The final stop is the El Sultan Hassan Mosque, built in the 13th century and considered one of the best examples of Islamic architecture from that era.

Sound & Light Show at Giza - 1hr - $50pp US
The Sound and Light Show at the Great Pyramids takes place on the Giza plateau. You will hear the story of Egypt as seen through the eyes of the Sphinx over the ages, and see the breathtaking sight of the floodlit pyramids lit up under the stars.

The Pyramids of Dahshur - 2hrs - $55pp US  
Dahshur forms the southernmost area of the Memphis Necropolis and contains a number of pyramid complexes and monuments. This site was used as funerary grounds beginning in the time of the Fourth Dynasty, where King Senefru built two of his three pyramids: the 'Bent' pyramid, named for the angle of the sides, and the 'Red Pyramid' named for the red limestone used in its construction. Why not enter? The Red Pyramid is also one of the few pyramids where it is possible to go inside.


City Tour in Aswan - 1.5hrs - $35pp US  
Witness local lives in Aswan, highlights include a visit to the Grand mosque in Aswan, “Tabbia Mosque” and the Grand Coptic Church.

Nubian Village - 3hrs - $45pp US, including camel ride; $35pp US, without camel ride
Travel by motorboat to a local village, visit a Nubian family and enjoy tea in their home, discovering their simple and natural way of life. The Nubian language is solely a spoken language, and is the common feature that characterises Nubian of today and is the centre of their identity.

Sound & Light Show Philae - 1.5hrs - $50pp US 
A magical experience visiting Philae Temple at night for the Sound & Light Show. Walk through the dramatically lit temple as its history is narrated.

Luxor Museum - 1.5 hrs - $55pp US 
Experience one of the best displays of antiquities in Egypt at the Luxor Museum including artefacts from King Tutankhamen’s Tomb.

Sound & Light Show Karnak - 1.5hrs - $50pp US 
Experience the beauty of Karnak Temple illuminated against the night as the pharaohs of the New Kingdom take you on a journey into Ancient Egypt.

Deir El Madina, Medinet Habu & Nobles Tombs - 3 hrs - $65pp US - minimum 4 participants required 
Deir el-Medina is one of the most well-preserved ancient settlements in Egypt. It lies near Thebes and was once a highly skilled community of craftsmen and their families. Visit Medinet Habu, the Mortuary Temple of Ramesses II. Also see the Nobles tombs of the great dignitaries from the middle and new kingdom dynasties.

Hot Air Balloon Ride West Bank - 1.5hrs (includes transport ex hotel) - $140pp US

Don't miss this opportunity for incomparable views of Luxor's famous temples! Enjoy a hot-air balloon ride directly of the Nile River's West Bank. Away from the crowds in the peaceful glow of dawn, your flight over Egypt's ancient monuments promises to be a highlight of your visit.
