ABOUT THE FIRST DAY – 30 DECEMBER 2017

Sydney, Australia - Departs 6:30pm

Royal Caribbean International offers check-in by deck level to better enhance the check in and boarding experience.  As a guide, these times are likely to be between 11:30am to 4pm.  The exact times are available closer to the time of sailing.

Lunch is available in the buffet dining room (Windjammer Café) on embarkation day.

There is a mandatory safety fire drill once all guests have checked-in which is prior to the ship sailing from port.

In the afternoon, the group will have a designated meeting spot for a group briefing with your group coordinator from Encounter Travel. Also a meeting spot will be arranged for pre dinner group drinks (drinks at your own expense).

Dinner is in the main dining room with tables dedicated exclusively to our group.

DURING THE CRUISE

On cruising days (when the ship is not in port) your group coordinator will arrange group ‘meet ups’ throughout the day.  As examples; this may be a morning ‘meet up’ for a coffee, an afternoon ‘get together’ for some fun on the rock climbing wall or a round of mini golf, or meeting up for one of the many ship hosted activities.

Each evening, our group coordinator will host pre dinner drinks * at one of the ship’s bar and our group dinner service in the a la carte restaurant.  There’s a show each evening and your coordinator will lead the way when it’s show time.

* drinks are at your own expense throughout the cruise except in the case of some non-alcoholic beverages available in the buffet dining room and a few other locations on the ship.

ABOUT THE LAST DAY – SATURDAY 13 JANUARY 2018
Sydney, Australia - Arrives 6.30AM

Your group coordinator will request a group disembarkation time. This is arranged a few days prior to the final day and communicated by your coordinator. We will request a group disembarkation around 8 to 8:30am but it’s at the discretion of the ship.  For any passenger that needs to make a disembark early, it’s just a case of going to the Guest Relations desk and advising them you require an early disembarkation. If you make special arrangements with Guest Relations, then disregard group disembarkation instructions.

ABOUT THE PORTS OF CALL / PLACES VISITED
Information below is from the Royal Caribbean International website

VILA, VANUATU
There are 83 idyllic islands that make up the amazing archipelago of Vanuatu. And Port Vila, the capital city of the island of Efate, is the heart and soul of them all. Sandwiched between the northern and southern atolls – it's like the city was built for island hopping. With its earthy beauty and ancient tribal traditions, this 'Land Eternal' has been voted one of the happiest places on the planet. And when a typical day consists of floating in a hidden lagoon, lounging under a gnarly banyan tree, cooling off in a waterfall shower and snacking on freshly picked fruit, you'll be the happiest person on the planet.

NOUMEA, NEW CALEDONIA
Nouméa, the charming capital of New Caledonia, has quite a few things to brag about. It's the third largest island in the South Pacific. It's home to the world's largest lagoon and second largest coral reef. And if that's not enough, it's part French. The cuisine is fabulous. The shopping's haute couture. And you're never very far from a full-bodied glass of French wine. Plus, you also get to visit places like Pierre Vernier Walk, Baie des Citrons, and Place des Cocotiers. Which are almost as much fun to say as they are to see.
