Elaine
Elaine has worked with an Asian Specialist for most of her travel career. After having two children and taking leave, Elaine then joined Encounter Travel May 2016, and is part of the Groups team.
She has travelled to China and experienced the amazing culture and sights. A highlight was being on the Great Wall of China and standing on a piece of history. Elaine has also spent time travelling in Canada and also lived and worked in Banff. She loved Banff in the winter time and got to experience her first white Christmas! She has also travelled in Europe, visiting France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
Elaine loves walking and has done a couple walks in the North Island of New Zealand. The Mt Tongariro crossing was the most challenging walk she has done, but was worth it as she got to see amazing views of the volcanic landscape. As part of her bucket list she would like to do some of the great walks of the South Island.
