RISK FREE DEPOSITS DURING TRAVEL BANS

Our Risk Free Deposit offer helps to reduce some of the uncertainty about making future travel plans.

The Risk Free offer applies to our  ‘Solos Only’ tours for travel in Australia.
They do not apply to tours categorised as ‘Solos Mix.’

Until 73 days prior to travel you have the option to cancel your booking and receive a refund of deposit monies
paid if you are affected by travel bans or travel restrictions that limit or stop you from joining your holiday with us.

Some tours may have Risk Free terms that are less than 73 days prior to departure. See end of terms for list.

• Valid on new bookings made from 15 May 2020 for travel destinations in Australia for departures dates until 31 October 2021 for any land based holiday, operated by Encounter Travel but excluding tours categorised as a ‘Solos Mix’ group.
• Your deposit payment secures the ‘Risk Free Deposits’ terms.
• The Risk Free Deposits offer excludes any monies paid for an airfare arrangement or other Third Party arrangements associated with the booking. Terms for airfares and other Third Party arrangements are advised separately.
• The full booking terms and conditions of the holiday come into effect at the time you make your deposit payment, with the addition of our Risk Free Deposit terms.  From 72 days or less from the departure date, if your holiday cannot departure due to any force majeure event, such as travel bans our Future Travel Credit policy as detailed by our terms comes into effect.
• This offer supersedes in previous version of these terms.
• Where a trip is advertised as guaranteed, this is not a guarantee of operation during any COVID-19 event or any other force majeure event that affects the departure, and the departure status can change
