Colombo Airport

Colombo International Airport (CMB), officially known as Bandaranaike International Airport, is the main airport serving Sri Lanka. The airport is located 35 km north of Colombo (in a suburb of Negombo).

Colombo Airport is the hub of Sri Lankan Airlines (One World alliance), Mihin Lanka, Cinnamon Air and Millennium Airlines. The airport is one of the busiest hub airports in South Asia and operates direct flights to Asian, European, USA, Oceania and Middle East destinations.

More than 35 airlines operate to/from Colombo airport being Sri Lankan Airlines the busiest one. Some airlines have seasonal flights, both passenger and cargo.
