There’s many things to do and explore in and around Darwin. There’s the option to add a full day small group tour to Litchfield National Park and experience the Jumping Crocodile Cruise the day prior to The Ghan Expedition departure.

Swimwear, towel (ask hotel), hat, refillable drink bottle, closed in shoes with walking tread.
Tour Details
Enjoy the day out to visit and explore Litchfield National Park and cruise the Adelaide River to see the jumping crocs.
Pickup between 7-7.30am from our group hotel. Travel to Adelaide River for private cruise showcasing the jumping crocs. Onwards to Litchfield National Park where a picnic lunch is enjoyed at Wangi Falls where you can swim. Other places visited include Florence Falls and/or Buley Rockhole where there is also the chance to swim. Magnetic and Cathedral termite mounds are seen throughout the day. On arrival back into Darwin the group enjoys the end of the day with prawns and bubbly overlooking the magnificent Darwin harbour at sunset. Return to your hotel between 7and 7.30pm.
This is a small group shared departure (other travellers that are not with the Encounter Travel group on The Ghan) with a maximum of 20. All bookings are subject to availability at time of booking.
