7. Blue and White Flag
The blue and white colours of the Greek flag symbolise the sea and waves. The nine stripes represent the nine syllables of the phrase "Freedom or Death," a popular Greek motto.

In Greek mythology, Mount Olympus was believed to be the home of the gods. Today, it is the highest mountain in Greece.
