Our birthday this year is a big one! Celebrating 15 amazing years, 24 August 2021. I still remember that moment; ‘flicking’ the switch and seeing our website ‘live’ for the first time. It was exciting; turning a hunch into an idea, then a plan and then into a company, just for solo travellers. We’ve grown a lot since those humble days of announcing our first trip to Daydream Island in The Whitsundays, but the recipe is still the same; one cup of my heart and one cup of my soul into every new itinerary created exclusively for solo travellers; it always was and still is, 100% Solo.
Even though we’re into our 2nd year of closed Australian borders, there was no way I was going to let this wretched pandemic sweep away the celebrations. As the saying goes, ‘every cloud has a silver lining,’ and this is our silver lining; this last year, we’ve announced more new tours for solo travellers in Australia than ever before.
Locked in (Australia) and even locked in our states, it’s been all about creating new opportunities to travel around our own backyard. The old favourites are here stay, like our Red Centre Discovery, Kangaroo Island, and Tasmania tours but now there's more.
